and it loves me.
ps--who wrote the poem on the second page?
from reading the last entry i feel like a copy cat, but... it doesn't stop me.
do you mind if i share your lovely (andnotsolovely) fans? i'm strongly thinking about making my own zine.
if i do, it'll be pushed in here so hard it hurts. unless anyone objects.
i have an activity for everyone to do.
it's something i've been obsessed with since roughly eighth grade, but have rarely done.
it's along the lines of random acts of kindness.
open up your phone book.
randomly pick an address
write the address on an envelope. return address is optional (depending how much faith you have in strangers). don't forget a stamp or two or three. but don't seal it yet :)
mail anything you want.....literally anything....
i don't have to give you directions to your mailbox do i? hopefully you can figure it out from here.
do this with more than one person, remember how the saying goes--the more the merrier.
some ideas of what to mail are thank you cards (for being alive & beautiful), artwork, letters, poems, stories, loose change, bottle caps, beach glass, sea shells, buttons, copies of TBH =]
i am a writer through and through, though maybe not a good one. i don't like the paper trails i leave behind. many times i've thought about burning or throwing out all of my old journals. when i leave this reality, i don't want loved ones reading it all and getting the wrong idea.
another "solution" i've thought about is mailing pages of my journals out. no return address if i did it randomly.
i'm not sure what i'm getting at.
ok, lets try this.
who likes to receive mail?
who would be interested in reading my personal, crazy thoughts?
it would make me feel better sending them if i knew they weren't going to be thrown away.
